The haircut!
On Saturday Elijah got his first haircut, even though he hardly has any hair. Can anyone guess who's idea this was?
We were cutting Dan's hair and Elijah was with us. Dan thought it would be cute to clip his hair, so......before I could stop it, there was little pieces of hair all over the floor. You can tell but only if you look close.
Roller skating
The church had a back-to-school skating party on Saturday. I was hoping to get more pictures but it was too dark in the "Skatium"
Ashley looks like she is having fun.
Hanna is having fun too!
The girls met two girls who were not from our church and invited them to come to church and witnessed to them. It was a great day.

Look mom, no hands!
Since Elijah is a boy, I think through his eyes the only thing he sees is how to use his toys for other purposes, how to get into trouble and how to give me a heart attack!
This is an indication of what a normal day is like. Needless to say this toy has been taken away, and all the chairs get tipped over if not in use. I can only take so much :)
Meet the teachers
This is Ms. Schmoker. She will be Ashley's math/science teacher this year.
Ms. Calhoun is Ashley's homeroom class. She will be teaching social studies and reading.
Ms Llano will be Hanna's teacher again this year because Bransom does 1/2 and 3/4 grade looping. It is great because the students and teacher already know each other.
We are looking forward to another great year at Bransom!

Water balloons
Elijah had grass on his hands and he didn't know what to think about it
The girls decided to play with water balloons but Dan couldn't be left out of that. Only thing is they weren't regular water balloons, they were full sized balloons filled all the way up with water. So when Dan threw the balloons at the girls they almost knocked them over!
Elijah only thought he wanted to be part of the water balloon party. Dan dropped one at his feet so he would get wet too.

Elijah is a big boy
He just figured out how to climb up in the rocking chair, which would be okay if he didn't stand up! Now he knows that the same method can be used to climb into the kitchen chairs. I'm not sure how much more I can take, if he climbs over the gate at the bottom of the stairs we might have to get him a chain and hook it to the wall :)
He sure is cute though

Elijah has 8 teeth.
Elijah finally cut another tooth yesterday. He now has 4 on top and 4 on bottom. They are all in the front so it's pretty funny to watch him chew food.
